Each fall, CBE provides $15,000 in non-dilutive funding to student startups as a part of the annual CBE Ventures competition, as a part of our goal of promoting invention, progress, and sustainable innovation. Grand prize winners receive $7,000, and the Grand prize runner-up receives $4,000. In the spirit of CBE’s mission of promoting sustainable innovation, a separate prize is offered for startups in the sustainability innovation space, awarding $4,000 to the idea that will contribute most to a sustainable future.
