Debate Spaces

Debate has numerous benefits beyond the competitive or political context, yet most people only think about debate in these two contexts. For students who do not have access to debate through their school, Debate Spaces provides an opportunity to debate and gain experience applying debate skills in the real world. We are the only activity that gives students the chance to build skills that are immediately useful to their day-to-day lives from negotiating with friends to writing better essays in class. We also uniquely give kids an outlet to use debate skills collaboratively, constructively, and creatively in a way that has a real impact on people in their communities.

Sustainability Prize

Troav

Troav is a Netflix for things. With a monthly subscription membership, users can access a large inventory of physical goods. It’s a library of things: check out an item, pick it up from our office, and return it when you’re done with it.For members, the Troav service is a novel opportunity to access useful items and explore exciting products. For suppliers of these products, Troav is a valuable marketing platform: it is an opportunity to generate “physical impressions” from target users. Companies pay billions of dollars for virtual impressions through internet ads and social media influencers; to have potential target customers actually use the products is far more valuable.
